OUR MIRACLE Part 1

Hello all, I am back in Palm Beach and have settled back into my routines but still here with out a sold house. Our new realtor started today and the new lock box went on tonight so we continue for God to show us his plan.
But I come to you tonight wanting to share the store of my little nephew Travis. You see he is just not any special nephew but truly a Miracle a gift from God. My sister-in-law Christy wasn't feeling right around Memorial day last year so that next week she went to the Dr. and was told it was nothing to be worried about she was healthy and the baby was healthy and it was just new mother's worries. But as the weeks progressed things did not get better and on June 14 she went to the Dr. once again and when checked she was dilated 3 cmm and her sac was already out a golf ball size. Christy was only 22 weeks and was rushed to Arnold Palmer Hospital. She was told she had an incompetent cervix and she was going to give birth soon. She was also given statistics and told she wasn't far enough along that the baby would make it. She was told to go home because they hospital could not keep her and given many options but not allowed to stay, well God worked his first miracle of moving time. After further tests she was further along a whole week 23 weeks so by law she was now allowed to stay but told the baby weighed less than 1 pound and they would not resuscitate him when he was born, But God worked another miracle of growth. Christy's second tests showed that Travis was now over a pound and they had to resuscitate by law. Christy was prayed upon by everyone and we prayed upon every Nurse, Dr.  and Tech.  One night the Lord came to Christy with a pray for her son.
Travis' Prayer

Lord, I pray for Travis' brain that it would be healthy
so you can fill it with Your boundless wisdom.

Pray for Travis' eyes that they would be able to see
You and the mighty works of Your creation.

Pray for Travis' ears that they would hear Your Word
and hear Your praises.

Pray for Travis' tongue that it would be full of grace
and ready to be used as Your instrument.

Pray for Travis' lungs that they would be healthy and strong,
ready to shout Your praises from the mountains.

Pray for Travis' heart that it would be strong,
but have more space for You to dwell.

Pray for Travis' shoulders that they would be big enough and strong enough to carry the burdens of his brothers and sisters in Christ
as they have carried us.

Pray for Travis' arms and hands that they would be willing
and able to do Your work.

Pray for Travis' body and all that is in it,
so that it would be a temple sanctified by You.

Pray for Travis' legs that they would be strong enough to run the race.

Pray for Travis' feet that they would look to Your Word for direction and that they would follow in Your footsteps FOREVER!

Amen.
Christy held on for 5 days with out getting up once and as they said she had come to a crossroads as to what to do next , fitting for our baby boy as the meaning of "Travis" is from the crossroads. June 19th "Father's Day " Travis Len Taylor was born weighing 1lb 3 oz and 11 inches long.  He was breathing on his own and in the sac which was a good sign. Sean and Christy claimed this verse from the Bible for their son.

"Look at the nation's and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told." -- Habakkuk 1:5

Going Home

Well our time here is up and well it's time to go home tomorrow. We have been gone for almost a month. We found a house we really like in Longwood and well we still have 2 houses to look at tomorrow morning. We have had a couple look at our house TWICE but have not heard back anything. We are praying they were away or busy for the 4th of July week and they are still deciding. As usual our realtor keeps giving the same story of he is doing all he can even though we know he isn't but his days are numbered with us so he better get his self working a bit harder this week, 8 days he has left. Please pray for our safe travels home, the sale of our house, our new realtor Kathy Strongin who is a Christian, Bill as he is still here with out us and me as I try to keep from losing it after 7 months of this.
I look forward to seeing you all when we return...
In Christ , Jen

I AM BACK

Hello all we have been away for what seems like forever. We had so much fun and would like to go back soom. We started out in South Carolina and stated with my 80 something Aunt Iris in Rock Hill. She should have a bed and berakfast her house is amazing. The acre of fresh veggies and fruits in the back the ORIGINAL furniture from over 50 years ago. The Breakfast, Dinner and Suppers were amazing and all fresh from the garden and no room on the table for another dish meals. The kids were in heaven. She even had a golf cart for the kids to ride around in.
We spent the next day visiting my aunt margaret and my 92 year old Aunt Ruby at my aunt lake house such a great view to bad the kids left their suits at the house. But we had fun catching up anyway.
Our 3rd day was off to North Carolina to visit my dear friend Chris whom I have been friends with since I was 13 back in NJ. We spent time at the communtiy pool, ate and more eating then he suprised Taylor with a cake at his sisters house who also went to school with us . I got to meet her little ones Brielle, Grayson and baby Alexa just born a couple of weeks ago. We topped the evening off with a game of miniture Golf.
We were sad to go but we had to head out on Saturday to go south to SPARTA, GA...If you have never been to Sparta no need to put it on your list of places to visit in your life time. Nothing to see in this falling apart town but My in-law's decided to buy a house to be turned into a bed and breakfast one day. 5 acres of pecan trees. Maybe they can make me some of my favorite Chocolate Truffles Pecans when they are in season.
We spent time with cousins, Aunts and Uncles and of course Mema and Bepa Rodriguez it was fun but Hot as the Georgia Clay. I came I saw I left...
On the way home yesterday We thought it would be nice to visit Savannah, Ga we got there in good time but it was even hotter on the 4th . We drove around on the best tourbus ride, MY VAN...we saw alot and was so ready for a good Dinner(Lunch to us but this is what Southerners call it) We found where Paula Deen's famous restaurant was and drove fast to get a reservation and the lines went around the corner...No luck but we saw it and saw the amazing buffet, all for $12.95 so if you are ever in Savannah  on W Congress St. be there before 11 am to get your name in...We walked around looking for another reastaurant and well Taylor somehow stubbed his toe so bad he was bleeding REAALLLY bad He might need stiches. A kind bicycle tow rider drove Taylor to a restaurant so we could at least eat before heading back out.
So Savannah wasn't all we had hoped for maybe next time with out the kids. Back on the road again heading for the sunshine state. On our way in to Jacksonville we decided since it was still early we should stop in St, Augustine. We made it in record time, shopped the factory outlet stores and found some great deals. Next was east to find the beachs and famous old town. Oh and we forgot about the 4th. The streets were packed with people coming from everywhere to see the amazing firework display. But we found a spot to park up close, God does work in all ways. And right near the packing lot we found a little great pizza place that was really good. We ate and enjoyed the breeze coming off the ocean. When we were done we got a map and head to look at a few old places and just venture around before it got to dark. We got the best chocolates and heard piano players and jazz bands. We looked in cute shops and down bed and breakfast little streets. The night was coming to an end and it was time to head home. This is one place we need to return and see more. We really had fun.
We are now home and resting up from our journey.
Please continue to pray for the sale of our house as Me and the kids have to return home Sat. We really want to be here and we know God has a plan and on his time, just wish he would speed things up a bit....
Love Ya'll, Jen

Road Trip

Well we are leaving on a journey to South Carolina tomorrow, my kids have never left Florida and never been north of Orlando so this should be fun. We are going to get to see family in Rock Hill, SC and then friends of mine from High School in the Charlotte, NC area. IT should be nice if it stops raining. Then we will head down to Sparta, GA to see Bill's parents new house and see 2 of his aunts.
Anyone know of some fun things we should take the kids to in either State? Coke in Atlanta is on our list. My kids are 11 and 8 1/2. I would like to do some flatwater canoeing.
Are we there YET????

The Housing Market

Ok it's been 6 MONTHS....I am so tired of this house selling stuff, almost makes you want to rent from now on. I have been trying to be patient but I am frustrated. I know God is trying to show me something from this but you get to the point you just want to give up. Bill and I have been separated for so long now that I feel like a single mom.....
Ok I don't know what else to say today. Would like prayers because I feel I can't go much more...
